Eligibility Criteria for the De Montfort University

Different universities possess different eligibility criteria. The De Montfort University eligibility criteria offer some relaxation in the admission requirement for its courses and they are as followed:

• Students should have 55% aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree. 3-year and 4-year bachelor’s degrees are acceptable.
• Students who want to pursue Computing and IT programs should have 60% in math subjects in class 12^th.
• Above all, he should have an IELTS score of 6 overall with no band less than 5.5.
• The IELTS waiver was announced in 2017. However, it will be given to the students who have secured 65% marks in their English subject of class 12. The students of Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh are not eligible for this.
• Students who have secured 50% aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree are also eligible. Meanwhile, they have studied at Delhi University, Mumbai University, Calcutta University, Pune University, and Loyola College are only eligible.
• Students can also appear for the Pearson Test of English commonly called PTE but should have an overall score of 59 with no band less than 59.
• Students can also appear for the English test assessment organized by the DMU itself which is similar to IELTS.
• Students should know that the University needs an IELTS score for 80% of its program.

 Fee structure and Scholarships
