Polish passport – how to get it?
Polish passport application – whom does it apply to?
We are often asked about the issue of the Polish passport application. Foreigners wonder who is eligible for the whole process and what documents do they need to become a part of the Polish nation? First of all, being a citizen of Poland gives many opportunities to individuals. Why do we mention it? If you are of Polish origin but still do not have your Polish citizenship confirmed, you must prove your ancestry at first and get citizenship based on the motion submitted to the Voivodeship Office. If it comes to the individuals who have strong connections with the Polish nation, they can also take part in the process which is called the Grant of Polish citizenship. The President of the Republic of Poland acts as the Head of State in such cases, and that means he is the one to grant a foreigner citizenship.
