Everyone loves lashes extension. They make your face look so new and aware, and it’s just so easy to prepare in the mornings … for what reason would you stop at any point?
Clients occasionally ask us when they should take a break from lash care. Their biggest concern is that the lash extension is putting pressure on their regular lashes or that they are falling out faster than they should. The right answer? Properly applied eyelash extensions can be worn clash – as long as the applied Mega Volume Lashes are the right length, weight, and thickness for your regular lashes, there is absolutely no reason why they should be harmed. I myself have been wearing lashes for more than ten years without any problems, and in all that time I have had one multi-week break – and that was a direct result of a long holiday!

You have two choices when it comes to a break: let the lashes shed slowly over a long period of time, or fly to the salon to have them professionally removed. It takes about five to about a month and a half for a normal eyelash set to shed completely, and surprisingly then you may find yourself on the trail of a few exceptionally decided stray ones. In case this is easier, we’d say pull out all the stops! For those who need to go pure and simple, a parlor eviction is ideal. It’s a very simple interaction – a professional applies an evacuation serum to your lashes and slides the enlargements off. We don’t recommend performing evacuations for your normal lashes at home, as you can never be entirely sure how fertile/non-damaging they will be! Make sure the timing is right.
There is no hard rule about how much time you should spend without extensions. But we recommend at least a month. This will give your lash cycle time to restart itself, with those baby lashes growing nice and strong. It also gives any lash serums a chance to really work their magic! A break in the week of a big event can be a nice way to pamper yourself. Especially if you usually have a glamorous look. Some clients can go months without lash extensions, some prefer just one – it’s all up to you!
