The Complete Spotify Premium Subscription Guide

Well, this time the MakeMac team will cover everything you need to know about Spotify. Starting from how to initially create an account, getting to know the difference between Spotify and Spotify Premium, and reviewing the application on iOS and OS X devices. Take your time to read my review, okay! Let’s get straight to the point:
What is Spotify?
In this digital era, the concept of listening to music is divided into 2 types. Buying in a row aka buying a song or album – in the iTunes Store for example. Or buy by renting – Apple Music, Deezer, JOOX, or what we’re definitely talking about right now, Spotify.
Now for renting yourself, the main feature is streaming music, because most of the ways to use it are listening directly without the need to download songs. Remember, the concept of renting that is given is in the form of an account, not renting a song or album. So you can create an account on the Spotify Premium Apk service then listen to songs streaming and download them to listen offline.
Of course, the songs that you download and listen to offline cannot be removed from the Spotify library, right. Encryption techniques are provided to prevent the file from exiting the application and being used without an account. This is what makes Spotify or similar services unfriendly to MP3 Player devices such as the iPod Nano or iPod Classic, of course.
Create Account
You can use Spotify with only 3 conditions. Have an account, internet connection (for streaming music ), and be in a supported country. So how do you create an account to listen to Spotify? It’s easy, there are actually several ways.
The easiest way is to open the page Spotify then select Register. The second way is through the Spotify application on a Mac computer or an iOS device. You can check the link to download the application directly at the bottom of this article.
Go to the create an account section, there are 2 ways you can go. Connect the Facebook account to the Spotify account that you will have or create from your email.
Loh, Error?
Some MakeMac friends are having problems like the picture above to log into Spotify via a Facebook account on an iOS device. This happens if you have used Spotify by changing the VPN when this service has not been entered in Indonesia.
So what’s the solution? It’s easy, open the pageSpotify common your computer, log in with your Facebook account. Go to the Spotify Account section and select Edit Profile. Change the country partly to Indonesia then save. After that, please try to open Spotify again on your iOS device!
Know-How to Subscribe and Pay
As I explained earlier, accounts on Spotify are divided into 2. Free and paid, aka Spotify Premium. For Premium services, of course, it has several advantages. Starting from ad-free, easy and unlimited song changing mode, save songs for offline listening and of course better audio quality.
Free or Pay?
This question always appears after the discussion on how to create an account. You can try Spotify Premium for free for 30 days. But the condition is that you must input credit card data – as a guarantee for the second month’s payment.
Please enter the Spotify homepage, log in with your account, and select the Upgrade menu. Enter the type of payment you want, starting from a credit card, ATM, Online Banking, cash payment at Alfamart, Doku Wallet, or finally, redeem code if you get a gift from Spotify.
For the record, the Free Trial system for Spotify Premium is only available for payment methods for credit cards. The rest will still be used in this first month’s payment.
Some Spotify users on iOS have reportedly found a way to get a 7-day Free Trial. However, while writing this article the MakeMac team did not find that part. Did you find it too?
Okay, pay. Personal or Family?
Have you decided to buy a Spotify Premium account? Hold on a minute, try asking your family if you also want to try it? Well if so, the Spotify Family option can be the right choice. The price offered is also quite cheap, compared to buying 2 Problem accounts separately.
That is, starting from 75 thousand Rupiah for an additional 1 family member, 100 thousand to add 2 people, and a maximum of 4 additional people, namely 150 thousand for a monthly subscription fee. Cheap isn’t it? Of course, the Spotify Family system uses a credit card payment system.
Why should you use Spotify Premium, not just share your personal account? If you use a personal account that is shared with several friends, you cannot play music simultaneously on more than 1 device. Likewise, for Playlist catalogs and playlists, it will definitely feel very messy.
Wait, Pay Via Web or iAP on iOS?
Okay, this part is a little confusing for iOS users. Besides being able to purchase a Spotify Premium subscription via the web, you can also take advantage of in-app purchases. Yes, similar to the Apple Music subscription system. But I don’t recommend you to subscribe to Spotify via in-app purchases.
Because the price that is withdrawn every month is different, which is 75 thousand Rupiah. This is related to Apple’s policy and the revenue-sharing system in the iTunes Store. In addition, subscribing to Spotify via in-app purchase also does not support the Spotify Family option.
How to Unsubscribe?
Not compatible with Spotify or want to just quit Spotify Premium and just enjoy the free mode? How easy is it to unsubscribe?
Open, please subscribed pages and select unsubscribe. End this section by entering your password for security. Now the page will display the date on which your previous subscription service will end.
Have You Tried Spotify?
The MakeMac team had already tried Spotify and decided to subscribe this first month. In addition to its extensive music catalog, its well-curated playlist mode, and the extra beautiful appearance of apps on iOS and OS X are some of the interesting things that make Spotify worth trying out right away. I will give a review of the application on iOS and OS X devices in a separate article!
Immediately create your account, download the application on iOS and OS X and enjoy listening to your favorite music!
